The 6th BioProScale Symposium “Innovative scale-up and scale-down for bioprocess intensification” takes place from 29-31 March, 2021 in 100% digital format. The event was initially scheduled for March 2020, but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Bioproscale Symposium is an event with a long scientific tradition, which is organized biannually since 2009, on industrial scale bioprocessing targeted at experts from research & development and industrial practice in bioprocessing of pharmaceuticals, food, feed and renewables. Due to the uncertain further development of the Covid-19 pandemic, the symposium 2021 will be held as a 100% online event at the virtual event platform "VLB Virtual Campus" which also provides an exhibition area for interested companies.
Topics that will be covered:
- Industrial-scale bioprocessing and scale down
- Bioprocesses for a circular economy
- High-throughput bioprocessing and automation
- Process analytical technologies (PAT)
The 6th BioProScale Symposium is jointly organised by the Technische Universität Berlin, Chair of Bioprocess Technology, and the Institute for Gaerungsgewerbe und Biotechnologie zu Berlin (IfGB).
